Hi Lapo,
I've revisited this problem again today and solved it by replacing the JRE with v1.6.0_15. Now, it works! Thought I should let you know.
Thanks again for an excellent product and the ongoing support.
Matthew.

Error 503 SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE
Hello, I'm having trouble with a new fully licensed install of SFS and BlueBox, everything appears to start fine, and I see 'Web server started' and 'Web server stopped' without error in the wrapper log file when stopping and starting the BlueBox from the AdminTool. I've included some of our bluebox...

Private messages / UserList
Hello, Not sure if this is an issue with UserList or the main SFS components, but here goes. To phrase the problem in an example: We have a situation where, if Jack sends Jill a private message, then Jill sees ' 1 unread message ' from Jack, *but* Jack also sees ' 1 unread message ' from Jack. Is th...

Hey Lapo, Thanks again for your excellent support for all of us in the Smartfox world. We'll try using the regular ZIP format. I don't suppose you have a snippet of code handy? OT: Right now we have bigger fish to fry: http://www.smartfoxserver.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=19987#19987 ... We've...

Actionscript extension: unzip in-memory data
Hi all, We're currently developing an Actionscript extension in which we need to decompress a GZIP'ed string. We're using the java.util.zip.Inflator class in an attempt to do this. Basically, what the code does is this: // gameDataZip is an Actionscript variable containing GZIP data from DB var inpu...

Can NPCs be identified?
:?: Can the server-side Java API identify users as NPC? To answer this question, I've searched around these forums and the web. The closest I've found is in the official documentation which states that the createNPC method will create something that is 'seen from the client as a real user'. So, can ...
