SFS methods implicitly invoked?

Hi Everyone, Are the following SFS2x methods implicitly invoked? changeRoomPassword changeRoomCapacity changeRoomName Our logs show warnings/errors pointing to these methods but we've checked our project files and we can see that these were not called. Were these triggered by some other methods? [Co...

li_ramen07 , check the following message from copet80. You must have a similar issue with conflicting libraries. Checked our files and it seems we're not using this lib (ds_release_fp9.swc). Any other ideas? This is what we've done so far: 1. applied RC3 patch [previous version was rc1b] 2. updated...

Hi Bax, thanks for pointing that out, but the problem still persists even after I replaced my SWC with the one in the link you mentioned in that post. Any ideas? Hi, Updated the API but we still get the same error. VerifyError: Error #1111: de.polygonal.ds::ListSet cannot implement de.polygonal.ds....

If a tile is non-walkable, tile triggers are not fired, but skin triggers should. Also make sure your skin's mouseChildren property is not set to true somewhere in your code. Is there a way to get a reference to the "parent" tile of the skin that was clicked? I have this tile with two ski...

Thanks Lapo. We have already fixed this issue. Just to verify, are delays expected in SFS writing logs? Sometimes, it takes minutes and even hours before we could see updates. Is this expected? The only way we could check errors in db connections and in sfs extensions are through the sfs logs so deb...

v2.db.SFSDBManager and MySQL

Hi All, We had just setup our MySQL db & sfs2x server and encountered the following error. Anyone knows what causes this? Do we need to configure anything? 26 Jul 2011 02:02:39,435 ERROR [main] v2.db.SFSDBManager - :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Exception:...

tile elevation and z-coordinate::sorting algo in OS

Hi everyone, Question regarding tile elevations/z-sort: Let's say i have 2 tiles: tile A: x:15, y:37, z:1 [topElev: 90, bottomElev: 70] tile B: x:13, y:35, z:2 [topElev:350, bottomElev: 335] The height of tile A's skin makes it appear to overlap with Tile B. Problem is, tile A appears "in front...

Okay. One more thing, is it necessary to create this building as a supertile? There are at least 2 other objects within this building that should be supertiles as well. But is it possible to add supertiles within a supertile? I've attempted to do this but i can only add tiles in the supertile editor...

Not sure which map you saw. Is it the one named "slopes"? Yes, Bax. Twas "slopes" Is it possible to create this building[with 2nd/3rd floor]? The object itself has a width/height of about 1058x1294px.. and this would be added on a 90x60 [tiles] map. Would this lead to some perfo...

creating large map objects

Hi, Has anyone found tutorials/docs/tips about creating large and complex OS map objects? We are planning to create a building with a second and third floor which would be accessible[walkable] to avatars via stairs[or anything like that]. I've seen a map using tile elevation but it was just simple, ...

zoom avatar when avatar reaches certain areas in map

Hi everyone, Is it possible in OS2 to zoom the avatar when it reaches certain areas in the map, and then zoom it out when it goes far away from those areas? Is this doable in OS? I came across the zoomOnMyAvatar method but it zooms the whole map. I need to zoom in on the avatar only, while the rest ...

Unfortunately, we can't.

We're currently doing some tests to determine where the issue lies.. it could probably be on our host server.

I'll let you know if we think that it's OS/SFS-related.

Thank you.

Yes, I see the right skins on the editor. It seems to be fixed now after i completely removed the "old" assets from the flash file [there was a duplicate of the "old" skin, but with a different export name]. Should this really be the case?.. I mean, it has a different export clas...

Okay, thanks. It's pretty odd though. I haven't installed the 1.6.9 patch but the game properly runs locally. :D
