VM Total Memory
VM Total Memory
I'm using SmartFox 1.6.14 and I would like to know how to put more memory for the VM Total Memory
Re: VM Total Memory
Hi,
you can add the -Xms and -Xmx parameters to your start script.
For example: -Xmx1G will assign 1GB of RAM to the JVM
See the docs here: http://www.smartfoxserver.com/docs/1x/d ... nced.htm#6
cheers

Re: VM Total Memory
The more memory you assign, the more will be used internally.
This does not mean that you're running out of memory, far from it. To see all the details of the memory usage/consumption you can use a dedicated tool such as JConsole or VisualVM, both come bundled with any JDK.
