Help me? malformed input...

I got this problem sometimes...help me? what is that problem?

The error indicates that a client was sending bad data. In other words data that isn't valid for the SmartFoxServer protocol.

It's not a big deal, unless this happens very frequently. Sometimes a client application over the internet may attempt to connect to a service and send data to see if the other end replies. This is usually the cause of those errors.

This happened to a certain frequency. I think it's attacks because there is no history of players with that IP address in the database.
Have some form of filtering the bad protocols?

It could be an attack, maybe some spam bots... it's difficult to say. Just sending malformed data if not going to affect the server unless it's a major flood, which requires lots of bandwidth and "zombie" machines. (hijacked vulnerable servers)

The best way is to use a firewall to filter out the attacking IP addresses.
