Postby frcol » 02 Jul 2015, 16:46

I´m starting to search for HTML5 isometric plataform and I´d like to know if SFS is compatible with someone especific.

Where can I start to test SFS with HTML5? Link, tutorial?

I am not aware of any specific solution but in general, if it's implemented in HTML5 you can integrate it with our SFS2X Javascript API.
I don't think SFS will get in the way of your choice, it's just a library :)

NOTE: you have posted under SFS 1.x, I am referring to SFS2X which is the one supporting HTML5 and Websocket.

Cheers

Actually we use OpenSpace and we must (unhappilly) migrate to HTML5.
So, we have all the backend, extensions created in SFS/MySQL/PHP. I wanna to reuse these functionalities with HTML5.

I´m starting the search for migration.
I´ll try the 2x demo and the Javascript API.

thanks

I see. Can I ask what is driving the migration?

Mobile issues.
We (our clients) want to run in mobile as PC. So, the way that we are founding to solve this issue is to move to HTML5 browser platform.

Nowadays, we advise our clients to use Puffin browser. But it´s not the same as native flash plugin.

Interesting. Never tried puffin, I'll check it out.

Haven't you thought of trying the native app route?
Flash Builder seems still a good candidate for porting Flash-based projects to mobile. Just thinking out loud... :)

Thanks for the sugestion.
I think that our platform is to complex to put it inside Native app.

But I´ll take a look at it.
