Hey guys,
i can't connect to my sfs so i checked if it's listening on the right ports on my debian 6.
netstat -46tunl gives me this:

9933 udp and tcp for outgoing and incoming connections are set to be allowed in iptables.

sfs2x only listening on IPv6?
Re: sfs2x only listening on IPv6?
Have you tried telnetting the server?

Re: sfs2x only listening on IPv6?
i did, no response since i try connect to ipv4 and sfs is listening on ipv6...
it must be a port/bind/listen problem.
is there any way to tell sfs to not bind on ipv6?

I don't understand. If SFS2X is listening on an IPv6 address you must connect to the IPv6 address, not something else.
Please explain.
Re: sfs2x only listening on IPv6?
but i dont want to connect via ipv6, i don't even know the v6 address, not to mention the fact that the v6 address is longer and harder to memorize...
i just want have sfs listen on ipv4 only.

Re: sfs2x only listening on IPv6?
The server listens on whatever address you tell it to listen to. And which you should have configured via the AdminTool.
Once the address is setup correctly you should have no problem reaching the server.
See the Post-installation tasks here: http://docs2x.smartfoxserver.com/Gettin ... stallation
If more problem persist please let me know the details of your settings? Is your server behind a router? If so did you configure the NAT? Etc...
Thanks
