Find JVM memory settings

Postby rewb0rn » 17 Jul 2017, 13:14

Hello,

is there a way to get the current smartfox JVM memory settings? We are migrating to SFS2X-2.13.0 and I wanted to understand what our current memory setting is. Checking the "JVM" tab in the admin tool under "Server configurator" does not display any memory settings. Does this mean we did not change the memory setting before?

Thanks in advance

Yes, that's correct.
Extra JVM settings are passed via the Server config. If no params appear there, you're using the default config, which typically is more than enough. The JVM adapts itself based on the available RAM in the system.

Also, aside from custom Extension code, SFS2X uses very little memory. Recently I've run a small stress test on a very low spec machine, and I was able to run 1000CCU in under 50MB or memory :D

Cheers
