I just updated (clean install) SmartFoxServer 2X 2.13 the problem I am having is that the server stars up and once it has finished it shuts down. My searching on forms I have come up with nothing.
AWS windows server 2012.
NOTE SmartFoxServer 2x 2.9 worked great did patch for 2.12 and then read it wasn't a patch but needed to be full install so I installed 2.13.
SmartFoxServer 2X 2.13 Starts up and then shuts down.
Re: SmartFoxServer 2X 2.13 Starts up and then shuts down.
Hi,
SmartFoxServer 2.13 runs by default HTTPS on port 8443. Several people have encountered a port conflict because they were already running another service (probably IIS) on that same port.
By default SFS2X opens the following ports:
9933 for sockets
8080 for HTTP
8443 for HTTPS
You should double check that no other services are using those ports already. In alternative you can reconfigure SFS2X to use different ports, if necessary.
If you need to change the default HTTPS port because the server doesn't boot up, you can do it by editing the SFS2X/lib/jetty/start.d/ssl.ini file.

still no luck.
I went back to 9.3 servers and updated to 2.11 (worked) and then updated to 2.12 (worked) and then 2.13 and server just will not run.

Try this:
- open a command prompt (Win+R, type "cmd", Enter)
- move to the SFS2X folder (you can type "cd" and then drag/drop the folder from Explorer)
- run "sfs2x.bat"
Check the error message and copy/paste it here.
