Hi,
It would be cool not having to login each time the server is restarted!
No login necessary after server restart
Re: No login necessary after server restart
Yes, I concur that it would be cool, but it's not possible.
Thanks

Re: No login necessary after server restart
Hi Lapo,
After reading this topic I've remembered the following. What if we added something like this to the AdminTool? Of course it would need to login again, but when you press to restart the server, the AdminTool could show an "infinite" loading bar like "Restarting server, please wait" and every a few seconds it would try to reconnect to the server, without the need to re-enter the login details, as it would use the previously entered ones. After reconnecting, it could re-load the same module again.
What do you think?

Re: No login necessary after server restart
Unless you are rebooting every five minutes after a restart the only thing you need to do is re-typing the password.
It doesn't strike me as a major nuisance

Re: No login necessary after server restart
Sorry, I've only managed to return to the forums today...
Yes I understand, but, at least in my case, sometimes it starts becoming a bit annoying.. As I usually work with different servers at the same time and have to be copying and pasting the passwords all the time.
This happened most in a project that I was working where the Extension was leaking DBConnections and for debugging I had to actually restart the server very often in order to check where the leak was happening.
I know this isn't a critical feature, but it eases the process of managing the server where restarts were involved.
Thanks
