Other Options For Flood Attempts

Is there no other choice for flood except banning? For example, can we not handle this situation on extension? Because i prefer kicking, change privilege or any other application based punishment, rather than banning

Users are being kicked before banishment.
You can disable the latter if you don't want users to be banned for flooding. Personally I would configure the ban option to be maybe very tolerant, but still active for those who are mainly causing havoc.

From Extensions you can handle the flooding directed to your custom code.
