I want to make generic infrastructure for billed/prepaid, high bandwidth, small game room game server. I am guessing I will have to 10 people in a game room, will need multicast between users, authenticating users on login, and users requiring quite a bit of bandwidth, possibly up to 30K per hour per user. Plus, I need to get the capability to scale to fairly large number of simultaneous users, e.g. to 10000.
I am not, right now, asking for assistance in making the game/games itself, although you would probably supply a small demo client illustrating interaction with the server in ActionScript or .net. I just want to get the server side system to which I would then be able to connect various games.
