Announcing Hero Mages!

Greetings Smart Fox Server Community,

I am pleased to announce that D20Studios, LLC is at last ready to launch our first game title, Hero Mages!

Hero Mages is a free turn-based fantasy strategy game powered by SmartFox Server Pro where each player commands a team of three heroes fighting to control the fate of Papillion, a once peaceful land now at war after the foretelling of a mysterious prophecy.

Originally invented as a board game in 2006, Hero Mages received excellent professional reviews, but, unable to secure a licensing agent, we decided to adopt the game to an online platform instead. When the conversion to Flash began in 2007, we had absolutely no experience whatsoever developing in a multiuser environment or working with MySQL databases in Flash. Thanks to the amazing documentation on the SmartFox site and the support of the SmartFox Server community, we were easily able to overcome this seemingly daunting challenge and create the exciting new product that we are proud to share with you today.

Hero Mages will go live on Wednesday, July 22nd at 7:00PM CDT and I invite members of the SmartFox community to take part in the event at www.heromages.com. We are currently using the 100 user license, so login early to beat the crowd! Again, thank you all so much for your support!
