Hi,
I tried to compose the 'GameLobby' example using Flex SDK 4.6 with new Spark components and get a number of problems.
Login Panel
1) There is no icon left to a connector component.
2) There is no border box around text input.
3) Some little blue box on login panel.
Chat Box
1) 'Send' button aligned left and overlapped with message text input.
P.S. Using Flash Builder 4.6 Premium.
Any suggestions?

Re: Problems using Bits with Flex 4.6 SDK
I can confirm the issues when creating a spark-based application.
But I simply activated the Flex 3 compatibility mode, and everything works as expected (except the Design View, of which we have to thank Adobe, which decided that Design View only supports SDK 3.6 and 4.5, 4.6, not all the other SDKs in between).

Oh, sorry, really in Flex3 compatibility mode everything is ok.
What about the first matter: are there plans to make Bits compatible with Spark-based apps?
Re: Problems using Bits with Flex 4.6 SDK
We are still trying to understand what is the future of Flex components model. As of today spark has just been a partial substitute to mx components.
In any application of medium complexity you end up mixing the two. Also the SDK is now open-source... how is it going to evolve? Do we have to learn the spark component model (the Bits are real controls implementing the component model, not just containers with buttons and lists dropped inside) or are we just wasting time?
We will evaluate if releasing a spark version of the Bits is a good opportunity later this year.

Thanks for your answer.
Re: Problems using Bits with Flex 4.6 SDK
My question is along these lines. Knowing that with Apache Flex and AIR; SFS2 tech is far from shelved. Flash is gone sure. Halo is gone for the most part, spark is flaky on mobile.
Did the smart fox bits move any where from this post towards AIR mobile?

Re: Problems using Bits with Flex 4.6 SDK
No changes on this side. It seems most developers prefer to build their own interfaces to connect and interact with SmartFoxServer, without relying on a pre-built set of components.
