What Lib/Inv files are used by Maps

Postby whornak » 01 Aug 2012, 00:11

I have found a couple of different examples regarding the dynamic creation of a "Home" for a player where the map/lib/inv are copied in one example but in a recently found example only the .map is copied.

As a result I was wondering if it is really necessary to create copies of the lib/inv files.

So the questions:

1) When creating this "Home" unique to a player, what am I required to make copies of?

2) Do I need to make a copy of the 3 files types for each room or can I just copy the map specific to the player with the originally create lib/inv files used by the system?

Thanks

I think you are referring to OpenSpace? If so, this is not the correct forum. Just let me know and I will move the post

Only the map file is necessary. The other two files are common to all the maps, so no need to make copies.
