Facebook and application domains

Postby croftie » 27 Sep 2014, 04:54

So I know that this is more of a facebook issue but wondered if anyone has come across similar issues.

I have an application which works perfectly on our website and we want to extend it to facebook in a canvas page. when we load the facebook canvas page (the same swf which works on our website) the application reports an error
[WARNING] An error occurred while creating avatar '122': Missing 'Avatar' class definition in avatars application domain for 'avatar1' avatar type
The map is not rendered.

Any ideas what facebook is doing and what the workaround is?

It seems that the external SWF containing the avatar definitions wasn't loaded.
Not sure why, if it is FB doing something special.
