.jar Example extension

Postby DarkGon » 16 Jan 2022, 19:53

Hello =)
I use yandex translated;

I want to ask how this training fpsExtension can be edited.jar it suits me, but I need to change the spawn points, remove the excess and add my own to this file, unfortunately all I know about .jar - only that it is a file in the likeness of an archive and that my NetBeans 12.6 and jdk 17 open it
I've never worked with all of this and want to learn, but when I try to edit, I get "read-only" and can't compile the code. Please tell me what I need to do to remove the "read only"

there is still a question, maybe it will be easier to somehow add your extension to those that already exist?

Hi,
if you are referring to the Unity FPS example, the source code is provided in the Unity Example pack found here:
https://smartfoxserver.com/download/sfs2x#p=examples

All you have to do is creating a new project in Netbeans and add the example's source classes to it.
Also make sure to set the Java compiler version to version 8.

If you're completely new to developing server side Extensions for SmartFoxServer I recommend reading this quick guide first:
http://docs2x.smartfoxserver.com/Extens ... uick-start
http://docs2x.smartfoxserver.com/Extens ... extensions

Cheers
Lapo
