Hello,
I've been trying to create a first extension which seems to be working fine on my local SFS install.
When i try to upload the jar file, the name of the extension is red, i have a "!" next to the extension file and next to the "Done" text. I can only clear and close the upload popup. The extension file isn't added and i can't link it to my zones/rooms.
I assume there is an error but i don't have any feedback on the web interface.
I'm using win 11 with chrome.
Can anyone help me with that issue ?
Thanks !
Extension upload fail
Re: Extension upload fail
Did you check the server logs? Any error reported there when you try to upload the Extension?
Also, can you please check the JavaScript console of the browser, just in case something is reported there?

Re: Extension upload fail
What version of SmartFoxServer are you using?
What AdminTool version?
Also, is the error occurring every time you try to upload the Extension, or sometimes only?

Re: Extension upload fail
Would you be able to provide us a temporary access to your AdminTool?
We would like to test this behavior from our computers.
If yes, please contact us by email at info@smart... referencing this post.
Thank you.

Re: Extension upload fail
As a recap of the issue, it turned out the server was hosted in our Overcast cloud service, but behind an external, third party proxy server not under our control.
Activating the “Enable X-Forward-For” option in the AdminTool > Server Settings > Web Server tab fixed the issue.
