SmartFoxServer 2X 2.15 is available as an update patch for all previous SFS2X 2.14 installations.
The release provides a revamped server engine’s UDP pipeline to improve scalability for very high packet rates. If you’re running a real-time game based on UDP for thousands of players, we highly recommend this update.

We have just released version 1.7.11 of the iOS/tvOS/macOS client API which addresses the MMORoom issue we’ve solved several days ago (see previous news entry) and fixes a memory leak problem that was recently reported.

With SmartFoxServer 2X 2.13.4 we introduced websocket origin checks for HTML5 clients. What this mechanism does is essentially verify the provenance of the client against a white-list of domains configured by the server admin. If the client origin does not match any of the allowed domains the client connection is denied.
